For over 20 years, Augie worked with Doc Finn, one of the finest artists in the Chicago area. Doc taught Augie "old school" techniques, a dying art form that few artists practice today. When Doc passed away in 2006, Augie opened Augie's Place in the same location as Doc's Ancient Art Tattoo Studio.
Today, Augie's Place welcomes clients from age 18 to 80, rendering body art in the traditional style, new style and everything in between.
Augie's Place complies with all health regulations and is fully licensed by the Illinois Health Department, going above and beyond what is mandatory to ensure clients' safety and comfort.
Absolutely no one under 18 can get a tattoo or piercing, even with parental consent. You must have a valid state ID or drivers license to prove you are over 18.
